PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway is giving away free reusable cooler bags to shoppers who spend $30 on participating frozen and refrigerated Breast Cancer Awareness products.
The insulated pink bag bears the “together for a cure” slogan and the pink breast cancer awareness ribbon. The offer is available while supplies last.
Through Oct. 27 Safeway will donate $5 to support local and national breast cancer charities when participating products, identified with "together for a cure" shelf tags, are purchased.
Shoppers can also make a donation at the checkstand to support the cause, or purchase a pink reusable "together for a cure" shopping bag for $1.99. Half of the purchase price goes to support breast cancer charities.
