Saint Joseph’s University Hosts the Fifth Annual Food Industry Summit

PHILADELPHIA, PA.  The Department of Food Marketing at Saint Joseph's University will host the fifth annual Food Industry Summit on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 8am to 4pm.  This year's summit entitled "Sales and Profit growth through Direct Marketing, Social Media, and E-Commerce" will take place at Saint Joseph's University's Haub School of Business, Philadelphia, PA. The Summit is a venue for food industry CEOs, Presidents, and Executives to present their insights on major issues and trends facing our business.  This event is attended by food industry executives, decision-makers and students in the Executive Master's in Food Marketing program, offering both an excellent informational and networking opportunity.


Originally designed as class for the Graduate Food Marketing program, Dr. John Stanton, Department Chair of Saint Joseph's University's Food Marketing Department says that "over the last 5 years, the summit has demonstrated significant value for all attendees, gaining valuable insights from thought leaders across the various disciplines of the food industry.  The Department of Food Marketing at Saint Joseph's University is uniquely suited to host an event like this.  For over 45 years, we have been educating undergraduate and graduate students, performing research, supporting government initiatives, and leading discussions on key issues within the food industry."
