Caroline’s Carts feature a seat specially designed for the comfort of children with low muscle tone and a locking brake. The carts range in price from $800 to $1,000 each, according to reports.
ShopRite will unveil the carts at its Woodbridge, N.J., store, Thursday, with representatives from P&G, Special Olympics NJ and Special Olympics Ambassadors Nadia Comaneci and Bart Connor. Drew Ann Long, who created the cart for her daughter Caroline, will also attend.
Wegmans recently made the carts available chainwide and Kroger brought them to additional stores.
