Farm fresh food grocer Stew Leonard's is now selling CT Lottery tickets in Norwalk, Danbury and Newington, Conn. Mega Millions, Powerball, and Classic Lotto tickets will be available for purchase, in addition to 31 varieties of scratch games.

The decision to begin selling CT Lottery tickets is the result of decades of customer demand. "Our customers have been asking us for years to sell lottery tickets, but we were always concerned that it would cause long lines at check out," said Stew Leonard Jr, President and CEO of Stew Leonard's. "Now, because of the advances in technology, we'll be able to sell tickets quickly at our customer service desk without impacting customers buying their groceries in the checkout lines."

CT Lottery will train Stew Leonard's Team Members on how to activate and deactivate lottery tickets, operate the ticket buying terminal and also provide educational information regarding the state's rules and regulations surrounding lottery sales.

Tickets will cost between $1 and $30 and will be available for purchase by customers age 18 and over at Stew Leonard's new Lotto Barn, located at each stores' customer service desk.
