(QUINCY, Mass.) Feb. 17, 2010 - Stop & Shop announced the launch of smallvictories.com, a new online community for moms. The smallvictories.com Web site celebrates the little wins that make a difference in moms' everyday lives.  Refreshed daily with new content including recipes; money-saving advice; and survival tips from fellow moms, the Web site provides that extra bit of inspiration moms need to achieve small victories on their own.

The articles on smallvictories.com vary by topic including: healthy living, eating, enjoying, saving and simplifying. The Web site also provides opportunities for moms to exchange:

  • Easy meal suggestions

  • Mom-approved tips to make everyday life easier

  • Solutions to make the family healthier and happier

  • Humor to add a little laughter to each day

"We want to connect with our customers beyond the check-out lines," said Andrea Astrachan, Stop & Shop's Consumer Advisor.  Astrachan, who also contributes regularly to smallvictories.com added, "As a busy mom on the go, we know that food and shopping begin at home and are one of the many things on everyone's to-do lists. The smallvictories.com Web site is one way we can help alleviate this everyday hurdle."

The smallvictories.com Web site comes to the rescue to help mom get through her hectic schedule - whether it's offering tips from other moms on how to keep the kids entertained when winter cabin fever sets in; making a nutritious dinner in 10-minutes; planning five weekday dinners for under $50; or even getting an additional 15 minutes back in her day for herself.

The site is an extension of the Stop & Shop customer publication Small Victories, which launched in the summer.  Later this month, smallvictories.com readers will also be able to take advantage of exclusive savings opportunities.
