ELIZABETH, N.J. -- Wakefern Food Corp. here has introduced "Baby Bucks," a savings program tied to the ShopRite Price Plus shoppers card.

Shoppers earn Baby Bucks for every dollar spent on specially marked baby items. For every $50 of Baby Bucks accumulated, shoppers receive a coupon at the courtesy desk for $5 off the next shopping order of $50 or more.

Items covered under the program include formula, diapers, baby food and accessories, such as wipes, shampoo, ointments, oil, soap, pacifiers, bottles and nipples, lotion, teethers and cotton swabs.

The program began August 30 and runs until Nov. 28. ShopRite used in-store fliers and grocery bags to help advertise the program.
