WLR spokeswoman Gail Price said results were outstanding in light of the $2 million that WLR spent in the last quarter fighting off Tyson.

WLR is also completing its purchase of Cuddy Farms-USA Foods division, which should be accomplished within days, Price said. The purchase would make WLR the nation's second-largest turkey processor.
