Checkstand Belt Cover Promotes Jewel’s Lower Prices

MINNEAPOLIS — Supervalu here recently deployed a custom-printed checkstand belt cover at all of its 180 Jewel-Osco stores in the Chicago metro and surrounding areas to promote the chain’s new “Gotta Love Lower Prices” campaign, according to Handstand Innovations, supplier of the cover.

The belt cover, called MessageWrap, is being used in concert with in-store signage and multiple TV spots to promote Jewel-Osco’s lower prices on everyday merchandise, said Handstand, Grand Rapids, Mich.

MessageWrap is coated with GoodArmor, an antimicrobial solution that helps prevent the spread of contaminants from grocery products and shopper contact.
