Ahold has said it plans to triple its online food sales by 2016. An important part of reaching this target is the opening of pick-up points in the U.S. and Europe. The company recently opened its 120th pick-up point — up from eight a year ago. The majority of pick-up points in the U.S. are located at Ahold’s Stop & Shop, Giant Landover and Giant Carlisle stores and offer a convenient way for customers to pick up their online orders without leaving the comfort of their vehicles.
