United Supermarkets has selected a multiple-terabyte Data Warehouse Appliance from Teradata, Dayton, Ohio.

LUBBOCK, Texas — United Supermarkets here has selected a multiple-terabyte Data Warehouse Appliance from Teradata, Dayton, Ohio. The retailer is also deploying Teradata's Retail Decisions Enterprise Suite, Retail Logical Data Model and Professional Services.

The investment is part of the Teradata Accelerate for Data Warehousing program, which enables companies to rapidly deploy their data warehouse investment. The technology will integrate business information collected from across the organization, which will be used to provide insight for category management and marketing decision-making, said Teradata.
