Relay Foods, the Charlottesville, Va.-based online grocery retailer, has revamped its website to make orders easier and provide more information about products’ origins, the company said.
The redesigned website makes it simpler for customers to find specific items as well as browse sections, according to a post on Relay Foods’ blog. It also allows users to schedule regular deliveries of staple items and continue adding to an order even after check out.
The retailer has also added icons to identify product attributes like Organic, Local, Vegan, Dairy Free, Non-GMO and Gluten Free, and it has expanded landing pages for local producers.
In addition, Relay Foods said it has enhanced online customer support and rounded prices to make comparisons clearer.
“We have put many months of planning and development into this new platform, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally hand the keys over to our dedicated customers,” CEO Zach Buckner said in a press release. “This updated site has a whole host of new features that greatly enhance the user experience and reflect Relay’s core values and commitment to making shopping for good food as simple as possible.”
Relay Foods offers grocery delivery and pick-up in Virginia, Washington, D.C. and the Baltimore metro area.
