Only about one in five respondents to a poll on SN’s website believe that Tesco will find a single buyer for its Fresh & Easy chain in the U.S.

More than half of respondents — about 53% said they think the 200-store chain will be sold piecemeal to buyers who cherry-pick sites, and another 26% said they think most of the chain will close and remain dark for some time.

SN reported on this story in "Tesco Looks for U.S. Exit," and in a Viewpoints column SN Editor-in-Chief David Orgel explains "How Fresh & Easy When Off Track in Slow Motion."
