Rosie, a robust online grocery shopping platform for web and mobile applications, will collaborate with members of Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) to create customized e-commerce programs that can drive larger order sizes, attract new customers, and strengthen consumer loyalty.

“Our goal is to provide our member retailers with access to strategic partners capable of helping our retailers compete in the changing grocery marketplace,” says Kate Favrow, corporate marketing manager at AWG.  “We evaluated Rosie’s offering and based on their evolving technology and eagerness to help the independent grocer felt it was a good fit for our retailers.” West’s Plaza Country Mart in Abilene, Kansas, is the latest AWG member to choose Rosie. Chris West, owner, selected Rosie after researching a number of online grocery shopping platforms.

“The service and support we knew we would receive from Rosie was one of the main reasons I went with their service,” says West. “Rosie's platform is unique and relevant in that I can customize the service to provide an outstanding shopping experience for each of my customers. Their mobile apps and extensive experience give me confidence that my online shopping program will be successful.”

AWG, the second largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States, serves more than 3,000 retail outlets in 26 states. Rosie will work with the AWG Marketing department to meet the online shopping needs of additional AWG stores in the upcoming months.

"Rosie and AWG have worked closely together for the last several years to develop the industry's leading online shopping program,” says Nick Nickitas, CEO of Rosie Applications, Inc. “By combining AWG's unique marketing and retailer services with Rosie's best-in-class technology and support we are poised to make a tremendous impact on the omni-channel experience for the benefit of their members, their guests, and our industry."
