Custom RV Used for Hy-Vee Health Tour

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee has hit the road with what it describes as a mini health fair on wheels.

The Hy-Vee Healthy You Bus is visiting select Hy-Vee stores to offer wellness services and events. Shoppers can get on the bus for biometric testing, flu vaccinations, nutritional information, demonstrations, food samples and more.

The bus also has a made-to-order omelet station for breakfast and healthy grill offerings for lunch. 

Visitors can learn about the MyPlate nutrition guide and NuVal Nutritional Scoring System.

The bus visited the Marion, Iowa, store last week from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will stop at many other units throughout the fall.
