The partnership begins in September with in-store activities, recipes and other nutrition materials tied to PBS’s new show “PEG CAT.”

Additional resources — including videos, games and recipes — can be found online at www.wholefoodsmarket.com/kid-friendly and pbskids.org/healthykids.

“At Whole Foods Market, we support the tiny victories that help children build healthy habits. That’s why we are thrilled to work with PBS KIDS to provide families with recipes, tips, games and activities to encourage a lifetime of healthy eating,” Barry Hirsch, global partnerships director, Whole Foods Market, said in a statement.
