4505 Chicharrones, a line of artisanal chef driven pork rinds, will be rolling out two new flavors and new packaging on store shelves nationwide this coming September. The new flavors will include Smokehouse BBQ and Jalapeño Cheddar and will join the brand’s existing flavor— Classic Chili & Salt. 4505 Chicharrones’ bold new look will feature updated artwork on metallic packaging.

A Bay Area favorite since 2009, 4505 Chicharrones elevates a favorite gas station snack by creating crispy clouds of porkaliciousness that are both tasty and sustainable. Crafted by professionally trained chef and butcher, Ryan Farr, the Chicharrones are made with high quality ingredients and the finest cuts of humanely sourced pork rinds with no added antibiotics or hormones.

Committed to sustainability and whole animal utilization, each chicharron is kettle cooked in lard to minimize waste seen in the meat industry. 4505 Chicharrones are gluten-free, offers paleo certified options and contains 7g of protein, 0g of carbs and 80 calories per half ounce serving. This seasoned snack is a better-for-you alternative that is great on its own or as a sidekick to beer, cocktails, dips or as crispy topping for your favorite dishes.

“I started making the chicharrones in my kitchen seven years ago as a result of feeling bad about all the waste in traditional butchery and sold them at my neighborhood bars,” says Ryan Farr, founder and CEO of 4505 Chicharrones. “We’ve come a long way but have stayed committed to creating a delicious and sustainable snack. 4505 Chicharrones brings a superior culinary standard to an up and coming category and we look forward to providing the industry with a new salty snack food that is actually good for you.”

4505 Chicharrones will be available in select stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99 in one ounce bags. For more information on 4505 Chicharrones, please visit www.4505chicharrones.com or connect with them on Instagram at @4505Chicharrones.
