Dole is a hit among health enthusiasts. The Spinach Cherry Almond Bleu All Natural Salad Kit launched in April 2011 won Best Salad Kit by Health Magazine's 2011 Healthy Food Awards. It was one of 29 new 2011 products selected by Health Magazine from among hundreds of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and beverages judged on taste, convenience and nutrition.

“This latest honor from Health Magazine is more proof of its increasing popularity with salad and health fans alike,” says Ronda Reed, vice president of marketing for Dole Fresh Vegetables, based in Monterey, Calif. The 8.4-ounce Spinach Cherry Almond Bleu salad kit is available with a suggest retail price of $3.99.

Also introduced in April 2011, the Endless Summer All-Natural Salad Kit was included in Women’s Health magazine’s 125 Best Packaged Foods for Women, one of the most prestigious honors for new food products, say Dole company officials. It was one of ten fruit and vegetable products and cited as a "slim-down pick." The salad kit appeared in the publication’s October 2011 issue. The 10.8-ounce Endless Summer kit is available with a suggested retail price of $3.99.
