Food for Life Launches Gluten-Free Black Rice Tortillas

Food for Life, makers of Ezekiel 4:9 sprouted grain breads and all-natural baked goods, is introducing new Gluten-Free Black Rice Tortillas to its lineup. Black rice is a true super grain loaded with vitamins, minerals and natural antioxidants, company officials say. In fact, black rice rivals and often exceeds some of the most notable antioxidant rich foods. Its dark purple color is primarily due to its anthocyanin content—the same antioxidant found in blueberries, blackberries, dark cherries and açai. Plus, black rice is loaded with natural fiber, making it a great healthy alternative to traditional flour tortillas. Food for Life’s Black Rice Tortillas are a 100% vegan and gluten-free, making them a nutrient-dense option for those with certain dietary restrictions.
