Giant Eagle Adds Health Clinics in Ohio
Giant Eagle is working with two health care delivery system providers in opening several in-store health care clinics in the Northeast Ohio market next year.

PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle here is working with two health care delivery system providers in opening several in-store health care clinics in the Northeast Ohio market next year, reports the Akron Beacon Journal.
In the Akron market, the chain has an agreement with Summa Health System to operate walk-in clinics at two stores in 2010. In Cleveland, University Hospitals will lease space to run walk-in clinics initially at four locations, according to the report.
This is the latest venture by Giant Eagle to expand its health, beauty and wellness offerings inside stores, Rob Borella, Giant Eagle senior director of marketing and corporate communications, told the journal.
