BRAMPTON, Ontario — Loblaw Cos. is launching a healthy eating campaign on Feb. 22 that will promote new President’s Choice private-label products.

The retailer’s Loblaws, Atlantic Superstore and Real Canadian Superstore banners will take part in the Bring Healthier Home campaign.

New healthy items featured in stores include a bulgur and quinoa side, seven-grain melba toast, cannellini bean crisps and wild Hoki fish. Stores will also promote other healthy President’s Choice items.

"Research shows that eighty-five percent of Canadian families use mealtime as an opportunity to teach their children about healthier eating," Tina Stewart, Loblaw registered dietitian, said in a statement. "Getting your family to make more nutritious choices can be tricky which is why we created some new and easy ways to incorporate healthier eating into breakfast, lunch and dinner."
