PeregGourmet logo in a gray background | PeregGourmetPereg Gourmet has unveiled Quinoa Pops cereal, a new option in cereal that’s made from popped quinoa. It does not have corn, is low in sugar and is GMO- and gluten-free. Quinoa Pops cereal is made from whole grain quinoa that is popped (like popcorn) under high pressure and a bit of heat. This gives the quinoa a delicious, airy texture. Each one-half cup serving contains less than eight-grams of sugar, 100 calories, one-gram of fat, one-gram of dietary fiber and one-gram of protein. The Original Quinoa Pops are sugar free. A part of a balanced breakfast—great with milk or yogurt—it’s ready to eat right out of the box. Coat a banana with some Chocolate, Vanilla & Strawberry Quinoa Pops for a healthy “banana split sundae” as an after school snack or pour atop ice cream for dessert. Quinoa Pops cereal is available in four all natural flavors: vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and original. It is free from any artificial flavors or colors. Pereg Gourmet is a producer of premium quinoa products including quinoa pasta, quinoa pops cereal, quinoa flour and pre-seasoned quinoa side dishes, among other natural products. All Pereg products are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU) and are dairy and lactose-free as well as all natural, with no additives or preservatives. Many are also certified gluten-free and non-GMO. The company has been producing top-quality products for more than 100 years.
