Weis Markets is leaning into its registered dietitians to host virtual cooking classes throughout September, free of charge to Weis rewards card holders, reports local news site WHTM.

Kimberly Varner, senior regional dietitian for Weis Markets, said that the virtual classes aim to take the stress out of meal planning and inspire Weis Markets customers.

Registration for the classes is required and closes 48 hours ahead of time, and the ingredient lists for the cooking classes are emailed to registrants about one week before each class.

The free virtual classes will teach attendees to make sheet pan lemon-parmesan chicken, strawberry-banana french toast, and sausage and pepper tortellini bake.

All class participants also get a coupon for $5 off their next purchase of $35 or more, with a limit of one coupon per month, per rewards member.
