With healthy New Year’s resolutions in full swing, Whole Foods Market today launched a new digital product catalog designed to make it easier for shoppers to browse through items, nutritional information and ingredients lists.

Nearly one-third of frequent Whole Foods customers say they shop according to a specific dietary preference, according to a recent Whole Foods study. As such, the optimized catalog—featured on the “Products” section of the retailer's website—allows shoppers to conveniently filter items by dietary preference, such as vegan or keto-friendly, as well as verify in-store availability to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.

“Whole Foods Market has always been a go-to for those who follow special diets or want greater transparency into what they are eating,” Jason Buechel, EVP of technology and chief information officer, said in a statement. “This new experience makes it easier than ever for those customers to find products that fit their needs, from dietary preferences to lifestyle changes, and ultimately helps them achieve their wellness goals.”

Available via desktop computer or mobile device, the digital catalog allows shoppers to search for and filter through tens of thousands of products through several dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, paleo-friendly, keto-friendly, sugar conscious, dairy free, kosher, organic, Whole Foods diet approved, Engine 2; low-sodium and low-fat.
