What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Developing and creating new ideas and a bakery program for our customers. Seeing these implemented at the store level is very rewarding. I am fortunate and proud to be a part of a great team with Rich Products and our broker community.
What inspires your leadership approach?
I am a firm believer in treating people the way I would like to be treated. Recognizing that training is not a one-size-fits-all approach and teach individuals accordingly. And, most importantly, words of encouragement and praise go a very long way.
What do you value most about being a part of the grocery business?
Relationships. With 35 years in the grocery industry I value most the relationships and friendships that have developed over our appreciation of creativity and similar values of hard work. These relationships will last a lifetime.
Favorite food: Fresh steamed crab legs with clarified butter.
