What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is creating the baked goods that our customers want and will enjoy. I love seeing the smiles on their faces, talking to them and listening to their stories. I especially enjoy when the children yell out, “Hey, there’s the cookie lady.”
What inspires your leadership approach?
My leadership approach has been influenced by my experiences with many different supervisors I’ve had over the years. Some were difficult, while others set a good example. I strive to be a good example. I want to learn and grow with my co-workers.
What do you value most about being a part of the grocery business?
I truly value the friendships of our customers and of my co-workers. They are like another family to me. I receive a lot of support from everyone, especially our store management. They are so supportive, encouraging us to be the best we can.
Favorite Food: Chinese food.
