Ahold Delhaize: 'Limited benefits' in banner consolidation

The CEOs of Ahold and Delhaize presented a long list of the potential benefits of their impending merger, but were careful to say the respective business strategies now underway at their U.S. banners would continue at least through closing, and that they saw limited benefits in consolidating banner names or store formats.
