Ahold Names Carr as New CFO

AMSTERDAM — Ahold here said it has named Jeff Carr executive vice president and chief financial officer, starting Nov. 12.

AMSTERDAM — Ahold USA here said it has named Jeff Carr executive vice president and chief financial officer, starting Nov. 12. He will succeed Kimberly Ross, who, as previously announced, is leaving Ahold to become CFO of Avon.

Carr, a British national, most recently had been group finance director at FirstGroup, a U.K.-based transportation concern that is the parent company of the Greyhound bus company in the U.S. and Canada.

Before joining FirstGroup, he was group finance director and board member at easyJet, and held senior financial roles at Associated British Foods, Reckitt Benckiser, and Grand Metropolitan. He began his career at Unilever.
