Jablonski Succeeds DiFelice as President of Shaw's

at Carl Jablonski has been appointed president of its Shaw's Division, based in West Bridgewater, Mass. Shaw's has more than 200 stores in New England and employs about 28,000 people. Jablonski most recently was president of Albertsons' Eastern Division, which includes its Acme banner and its stores in Florida. A successor at the Eastern Division has not yet been named. Nicola DiFelice, the current president of Shaw's, is leaving the company to spend more time with her family, the company said. Both Shaw's and Acme are among the Albertsons divisions that are being acquired by Supervalu, Minneapolis.
