FDI HANDS OUT SERVICE AWARDS

LAS VEGAS -- Several individuals and companies received Distinguished Service Awards in recognition of their service to Food Distributors International during its Midyear Executive Conference here last week.

Awarded for outstanding membership efforts was Bill Mouskondis, president and CEO, Nicholas & Co.

Finally, in recognition of his work in the international arena, an award went to Peter K. Hamaguchi, president, Hiroya Co. Additionally, three companies were cited for outstanding participation and support during the past year. They were: Supervalu, Quality Foods and Associated Grocers, Baton Rouge, La.
