Free Private Label Products at Publix

LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix is promoting its store brand by offering three of its products for free.

Shoppers who purchase Kellogg’s Special K Red Berries cereal, Special K cereal bars and Quaker raisin, date and walnut cereal get the Publix-brand equivalents — Publix-brand raisin, date & walnut cereal; strawberry bars; and crunchy rice & wheat cereal — free.

“We're so confident you'll like Publix brand products, we'll let you try ours for free,” Publix writes in its circular.

The weeklong deal, which ends Tuesday, is limited to one per customer.
