Kellogg Co. CEO and Chairman Steven Cahillane, Ocean Spray President and CEO Bobby Chacko, and Ferrero North America President and CEO Paul Chibe have been elected as new board members of the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA).

The trio joined GMA's board, which includes top U.S. leaders of its member companies, at the trade association's spring directors meeting earlier this week.

"All three are recognized industry leaders with decades of experience, and their depth of knowledge on consumer trends will prove invaluable as GMA works to meet the rapidly evolving needs of 21st Century food, beverage and consumer products companies, and of consumers across the country,” said Chris Policinski, GMA board chairman and president and CEO of Land O’Lakes Inc.

Prior to joining Kellogg in October 2017, Cahillane was president and CEO of Nature’s Bounty Co. He had previously spent seven years at the Coca-Cola Co. and eight years at AB InBev.

Chacko of Ocean Spray joined the company in 2017. He is a 20-year CPG career and entrepreneur in the food and beverage industry, working for companies such as Mars Drinks, the Coca-Cola Co., AB InBev and GE Capital.

Chibe joined Ferrero after working for AB InBev, where he was U.S. chief marketing officer. He worked for Wrigley for 11 years and was with Quaker Oats Co. and Leaf Inc. (now owned by Hershey) earlier in his career.
