Kroger Features Breast Cancer Survivors
More than 50 women will share their stories of breast cancer survival on packages of national brand and private-label products to be sold exclusively at Kroger stores during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

CINCINNATI — More than 50 women will share their stories of breast cancer survival on packages of national brand and private-label products to be sold exclusively at Kroger stores during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Among them is Natalie Lucas, a Richmond, Ind., Kroger store manager who is featured on Cheez-It snack crackers. Her story and others can also be found at www.sharingcourage.com.
The Kroger Co. is partnering with key suppliers to donate $3 million to support breast cancer initiatives. The campaign includes a store-wide sales promotion of popular items, many of which will feature exclusive, specially marked pink packaging. This year, 1,800 items, including Kroger's own products and items from partners Pepsi, Kellogg, Kraft, General Mills, Procter & Gamble and Kimberly Clark will be marked with special pink shelf tags to highlight their participation.
"All of us at Kroger applaud these terrific associates for choosing to share their personal stories of fighting breast cancer with our customers and associates," said David Dillon, Kroger's chairman and chief executive officer, in a statement.
