Cincinnati-based Kroger Co. has partnered again with Kitchen United MIX, this time in its home state.

The hybrid shopping-dining experience will be available for the first time at three Mix Food Hall locations inside Kroger stores in the Columbus, Ohio, area this fall, ghost kitchen company Kitchen United announced last week.

Kroger stores in Ohio that will have the Mix Food Hall locations are 3417 N. High St. in Clintonville, 7625 Sawmill Rd. in Dublin and 300 S. Hamilton Rd. in Gahanna.

“We are always looking for new and unique ways to help our customers answer the ‘what’s for dinner tonight?’ question,” said Melissa Stimac, VP of merchandising Kroger Columbus Division, in a statement. “The collaboration with Kitchen United is special because customers’ restaurant-quality meal will be crafted while they’re shopping for the fresh food and pantry staples their families need.”

Available for online ordering via on-site digital kiosks, the Mix app or online at MixFoodHall.com, Kitchen United MIX offers items from independently operated local and national restaurant brands, including Fuku, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, Genghis Grill, Hardee’s, Nathan’s Famous, Nekter Juice Bar, Pei Wei Asian Kitchen, Saladworks, Wing Zone and Wow Bao.

"Kitchen United is proud to open its first Mix Food Hall in the Columbus area," said Kitchen United CEO Michael Montagano, in a statement. "Families and groups who can’t agree on what to have for lunch or dinner will love the ability to order different foods from different restaurants, all in one order. With our proprietary, leading-edge technology, Mix Food Hall is revolutionizing the way people order takeout, and we couldn't be more excited to introduce this one-of-a-kind experience to Columbus.”

Following the opening of the Mix Food Hall locations in Ohio, Kroger will have a total of 17 food hall locations in Arizona, California, Illinois, New York, Ohio, and Texas.

Founded in 2017, Kitchen United is a provider of restaurant hub technology, streamlined logistics and commercial kitchen space, which earlier this year raised $100 million from a group of high-profile investors including Kroger.
