CINCINNATI — Kroger is creating a new reusable shopping bag and is asking shoppers to help design it.
The “Design a Reusable Shopping Bag” contest kicked off yesterday and runs through May 15.
Contestants must design their bags via Kroger.com. There, they can choose one of several pre-set options for background, text, border, photos and paint tools.
Participants who enter an active Kroger shopper card will get an electronic coupon loaded to their Kroger loyalty card that’s good for a free standard Kroger reusable shopping bag, a 99-cent value.
All entries will be posted on the Kroger website. The public will vote on the entries.
The winner will get a $1,000 gift card to Kroger and the design may be used to produce a reusable shopping bag. Each of four finalists will get a $250 Kroger gift card, while five runners-up will receive $100 Kroger gift cards.
