Lowes Gives Away Free Local Produce
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Lowes Foods is promoting its local food club by awarding 100 free boxes throughout the summer.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Lowes Foods is promoting its local food club by awarding 100 free boxes throughout the summer.
One hundred winners will receive a box with six to 10 varieties of locally grown produce. Weighing about 12 pounds, each box has a $30 value.
Shoppers are automatically entered when they fill out an online registration form at www.lowesfood.com/promotions.

Seven winners have been chosen each week since May 30. The promotion runs through Aug. 30.
As reported in SN, Lowes Foods launched the Locally Grown Club in June. Running through Sept. 8, the club costs $29 for one box of 12 pounds of produce from North Carolina farmers; $27 per week for a three-week program; and $25 per week for a six-week program.
