LAKELAND, Fla. -- Publix Super Markets here has added a combination vanilla, chocolate and strawberry to its store-brand Premium Fat-Free No-Sugar-Added Ice Cream selection.
It also has launched Publix-brand mint fudge frozen yogurt.
Both new entries contain 80 calories per serving and retail at $2.99 per half gallon.
"New Publix Premium Fat-Free No-Sugar-Added Ice Cream may taste sinful, but it's completely guilt-free," the company printed in its consumer newsletter, Family Style. Another new addition to the retailer's frozens department is Dairi-Fresh vanilla ice cream with raspberry sherbet swirl, which retails at $1.69 per half gallon.
