Publix Invites Shoppers to Buy National Brand, Get Private Label Free

Publix Super Markets kicked off another of its store brand challenges yesterday. As part of the buy-one, get-one-free promotion, shoppers who purchase any of four designated national-brand items through Aug. 20 will get those items’ Publix-brand counterpart for free.

LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix Super Markets here kicked off another of its store brand challenges yesterday. As part of the buy-one, get-one-free promotion, shoppers who purchase any of four designated national-brand items through Aug. 20 will get those items’ Publix-brand counterpart for free. Promoted pairs include: Hormel Beef Roast, 17-ounce, and Publix Homestyle Beef Pot Roast, 17-ounce; Progresso Italian Style Bread Crumbs, 15-ounce, and Publix Italian Style Bread Crumbs, 15-ounce; Campbell’s Organic Tomato Juice, 46-ounce, and Publix GreenWise Market Organic Tomato Juice, 46-ounce; and Hunt’s Tomato Sauce, 15-ounce, and Publix Tomato Sauce, 15-ounce. “We’re confident that you’ll enjoy Publix brand products just as much, if not more than the national brand counterparts,” Publix says on its site.
