In other news, approximately 200 employees at Lidl US headquarters in Arlington, Va., were laid off, according to reporting from Fox 5 Washington DC. Senior Manager of Communications and Public Relations Chandler Spivey said all affected employees were given the opportunity to receive severance pay, as well as support with career transition services, company funding of COBRA healthcare continuation coverage and the payout of accrued but unused vacation.
