The Network of Executive Women (NEW) presented three chief information officers with its Outstanding Champions for 2005 award on May 1 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Chicago. Here are the winners (from left): Kay Palmer, CIO and executive vice president, J.B. They were introduced by the recipient of last year's award, Bill Grize, president and chief executive officer of retail operations, Ahold USA. The award is designed to recognize excellence in promoting NEW's goals of attracting, retaining, and advancing women in the retail and CPG industries.
