BENTONVILLE, ARK. — Wal-Mart Stores has introduced one-click shopping this back-to-school season on a site that incorporates teachers' supply lists.

Educators are encouraged to upload their lists to classrooms.walmart.com. Parents can then search by city or school name to find their child’s list. Parents can add either the entire list or select items to their cart. The total cost of all items on the list is provided at the top of the page.

Although few schools have posted their list, the site has a feature that will alert parents if and when a list is provided. Generic lists aimed at the needs of elementary, middle and high school students are also available.

A mobile app version of the service may be rolled out before the start of the school year, according to one report.
