Wal-Mart is planning to serve up 1 million free ice cream sundaes in more than 2,500 supercenters across the country this Sunday.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart is planning to serve up 1 million free ice cream sundaes in more than 2,500 supercenters across the country this Sunday. The event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will kick off the retailer’s summer-long savings on ice cream and sundae toppings, according to Pam Kohn, Wal-Mart’s senior vice president and general merchandise manager for grocery.
