For the third consecutive year, Wegmans executive chef Mark Makovec will be on hand via Twitter in the three days leading up to Thanksgiving, dishing out culinary expertise to consumers in 140 characters or fewer. He’ll answer questions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, November 25 through Wednesday, November 27. Questions may be submitted by tweeting to @Wegmans and using the “#turkey911” hashtag. For even more help in the kitchen, the homepage on Wegmans.com highlights eight ways Wegmans can help consumers this Thanksgiving, including FAQ’s, tips and techniques. “Many people may be cooking turkey for the first time and others cook it only once a year, so they may not remember what works best. We want to assure our customers that we’re here to help,” says Makovec. “We’re providing knowledge and resources so folks can relax a bit more and enjoy the time spent with family.”
