Weis Markets has expanded its Weis Online Shopping service to eight New Jersey and Pennsylvania locations, bringing the convenience of online grocery orders with store pick-up to the Delaware Valley. Weis Online Shopping, which offers improved payment options and can be accessed at WeisMarkets.com/OnlineShopping, is now offered at Weis Markets’ New Jersey stores in Newton, Franklin, Hackettstown and will be offered at its Hillsborough store when it opens on August 25. In the Delaware Valley, it is available at Weis stores located in Conshohocken, Doylestown, Lansdale and Norristown. “We are in the business of offering our customers greater convenience and more choices,” says Brian Holt, vice president of advertising, marketing and public relations for Weis Markets. “Weis Online Shopping offers both and is particularly well-suited to customers who don’t have the time to shop including double income households, families with small children and those with mobility issues.” Customers can pay online through a secure PayPal system and at the store where associates process the transactions with handheld, mobile payment devices. They can also use their Weis Preferred Shopper’s card, browse the online weekly circular and add feature items to their cart. Paper and eCoupons are accepted. Weis Online Shopping is now available in 14 locations, including Allentown, Bethlehem, Harrisburg, York and in Frederick, Md.
