Weis Markets Expands Private Brands Coffee Program

Weis Markets has expanded its private brand coffee program, now offering premium Weis Five Star and brand equivalent Weis Quality labels. The whole bean and ground coffee program is now available in all Weis Markets stores. The two-tiered program replaces a previous version of Weis Five Star Coffees and offers increased variety at more competitive price points. Weis Five Star Coffees are a premium tier, 100% Arabica Bean coffee comparable to Starbucks and Dunkin Donut coffees, with retail prices starting at $7.99. There are eight Five Star flavors, including four organic Fair Trade sourced selections: Kona Breeze, Colombian Estate, African Serengeti, Jamaican Mountain Blend, Organic Peruvian Decaf Whole Bean, Organic Peruvian Whole Bean, Organic Nicaraguan Dark Roast, Whole Bean Organic Nicaraguan Dark Roast and Whole Bean Organic Costa Rican. Weis Quality Premium Coffees are 100% Arabica coffee. The mid-tier program is comparable to 8’OClock Coffee with retail prices starting at $4.99. There are eight Weis Quality Premium coffee flavors: Donut Shop, Hazelnut Crème, Decaf Hazelnut Crème, Decaf French Vanilla, French Vanilla, Decaf Breakfast Blend, Breakfast Blend, Fog Cutter and French Roast.
