AUSTIN, Texas — Whole Foods Market here said last week it has reformulated its 365 Everyday Value shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel to meet its Premium Body Care Standards.
The standards were launched last year to help consumers decipher which body care products in Whole Foods’ Whole Body departments contain the most-natural and highest-quality ingredients. Products that bear the Premium Body Care seal have been evaluated and approved for safety, effectiveness and environmental impact.
The 365 Everyday Value body items come in 16-oz. or 32-oz. sizes of mint, citrus grapefruit, lavender, and unscented versions. The reformulated products will be available this summer in the stores’ Whole Body departments, and will not contain any of the more than 300 ingredients banned on the Premium Body Care Standard list. There will be no price increase associated with this formulation change, the company said.
