Winn-Dixie Adds Four VPs to Corporate Staff
Winn-Dixie Stores has announced the addition of four new associates to its corporate headquarters staff to oversee compensation and benefits, purchasing, private label and Center Store merchandising.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Winn-Dixie Stores has announced the addition of four new associates to its corporate headquarters staff to oversee compensation and benefits, purchasing, private label and Center Store merchandising. Mark Tanis, the new vice president of compensation and benefits, is responsible for the planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of Winn-Dixie’s compensation and benefits programs for the 52,000 associates employed by the 520-store grocer. Chris Vukich has joined Winn-Dixie as the vice president of pricing; he will be responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies. Joe McKie, vice president of corporate brands, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s corporate brands initiative, including the redesign and relaunch of its private-label products. Most recently McKie served as president and chief executive officer of Kreative Brand Solutions. Matt Gutermuth now serves as vice president of Center Store and is responsible for overseeing buying and merchandising efforts for the department. Before joining Winn-Dixie, he held several executive roles at Safeway, most recently as president and CEO of Safeway.com.
