SWEETWATER, Texas — Lawrence Brothers IGA here, operators of 20 supermarkets throughout West Texas and New Mexico, has selected technology from KSS Retail, Florham Park, N.J., for real-time price modeling and optimization. The system will be used by Lawrence Brothers’ merchandising department to model, forecast and optimize pricing and promotions. Jere Lawrence, president of Lawrence Brothers, described the system as “intuitive, self-learning and one that we’ll be able to use in our daily work-flow to better serve our customers.”
