The line will include more than 200 new items aimed at “people who are passionate about food and are looking for the ultimate culinary inspiration and experiences without paying specialty food store prices,” Loblaw said in a statement. The line includes items such as bacon marmalade, umami paste, cherry shiraz jelly, chermoula bell pepper spread and fiorelli pasta, and will be available beginning next month in exclusive sections at 140 Loblaw banner stores in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia.

The company will officially launch the line during a “dinner party” next week in Toronto during which area chefs will prepare a tasting menu featuring the new items.
