Tops Promotes DiMartino in Regulatory Role

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Friendly Markets here yesterday said it had promoted Jim DiMartino to senior manager of regulatory and environmental services. In his new role, DiMartino, who has been with Tops for 28 years, is a liaison between Tops and regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and city and county health departments. In addition, he is responsible for daily monitoring of sanitation and housekeeping standards for Tops Markets. DiMartino most recently was the manager of regulatory and environmental services at Tops and has previously been a food safety inspector.
