A&P Launches Premium Beef Line
MONTVALE, N.J.— A&P has announced the launch of Woodson & James Choice Angus Beef, a new line of private-label, premium-quality beef that will replace the current beef, steak and roast offerings in all A&P, Pathmark, Superfresh, Waldbaum’s and The Food Emporium locations beginning Friday, May 27.

MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P has announced the launch of Woodson & James Choice Angus Beef, a new line of private-label, premium-quality beef that will replace the current beef, steak and roast offerings in all A&P, Pathmark, Super Fresh, Waldbaum’s and The Food Emporium locations beginning Friday, May 27.
“A&P’s significant effort to upgrade its beef offerings, while keeping prices affordable, demonstrates our continued commitment to delivering enhanced value to our customers,” Harry Giglio, vice president of meat and seafood, said in a release. “With our exclusive new line of Woodson & James steaks and roasts, shoppers no longer need to sacrifice quality in order to stay within their budgets and provide delicious meals for their families.”
On May 27, A&P will also launch a new website at www.woodsonandjames.com, featuring beef recipes and cooking tips. All stores will feature new in-store Woodson & James signage, and meat department associates, outfitted in Woodson & James aprons, will be available to answer questions about the new brand, as well as offer customers cooking tips.
